Accommodation and catering
If desired, we will provide you with addresses of German host families. These families are happy
to receive guests throughout the year and offer you the chance to experience family life in Germany.
In consultation with your hosts, you may choose between a single or double room with half-board or full-board.
In Augsburg there is plenty of accommodation available in various halls of residence. These rooms can
only be booked once you are in Augsburg; however, we are happy to advise you about rooms and will
provide you with all the necessary information.
We can, of course, also book a room in a guest house or hotel for you. This reservation can be made
before your arrival in Augsburg.

Airport transfer
The largest airport near Augsburg is Munich (about 60 km away), and if necessary we can organise a
transfer from Munich airport to Augsburg for you. Please give us details of your exact arrival time,
airline and flight number. You will be picked up at Munich airport by a local transfer organisation
and taken to your accommodation in Augsburg.
Health insurance
If required, we will provide you with the addresses of appropriate health insurance companies for
language students and students in general.

Regulations of residence and visa requirements
It is the obligation of the course participant to be sure that his or her stay in Germany is legal. Sprachforum-Augsburg assumes that participants have the necessary legal papers to enter Germany and to reside there for the duration of their studies.
We will gladly provide all the necessary information for students who need a visa for the Federal Republic of Germany.
After entering the FRG, you are required to register at the local city administration office. We will, of course,
help you here in any way we can.
The refusal of a visa is not enough for the refund of the course fee. We verify the refusal.
We need a separate confirmation from the Embassy. If we have no doubt about the authenticity
of refusal we pay the course fee less the cancelation charge of 25% of the course fee but a minimum of
€ 120.
